LSAT Score Release Dates: Scheduled vs. Actual Comparison 2004-2021

LSAT Score Release Dates

This article was last updated May 27th, 2022

As the score release date for each LSAT administration nears, tensions run high among test takers. The moment of truth is at hand, and you’re days or even hours from knowing exactly how you did. In the past, LSAC confused things further by nearly always releasing scores days in advance of their “official score release date.” Because of this, there was uncertainty and anxiety about the process. However, in response to our Twitter suggestions and our open letter to LSAC about release times, they changed policy and started releasing scores on the official date in 2018 at approximately 9 AM Eastern. Below are listed all prior official and actual release dates for each test since June 2004 to the present.

If you need something to do while waiting for your scores to release, we have this blog post for you!

Additional Information About Score Releases

  1. The official release date is not considered to be the date when scores will be sent out. It’s more of a “you’ll have your score by this day” date. Thus in the past it was common for scores to appear much earlier than the official date. That is no longer the case.
  2. Scores come out at the same time for everyone at 9AM Eastern. You can login to your LSAC account to see your score.

I still have not received my LSAT score from the February 2021 flex exam. LSAC has provided no updates concerning the score or when I should expect to receive them. If anyone can help, please let me know. I’m applying to law school and am only waiting on my score that was suppose to be released on March 10 and now it’s over 2 months past due.

      Hi Sophia,

You need to contact LSAC immediately. Only they can release your score or tell you what’s going on here, and you have a right to know what happened!

      Good luck!
