You can find the height of an equilateral triangle by dividing it into two 30:60:90 triangles.
Using the common side relationshionships available in a 30: 60: 90 triangle,
you can see that the height of an equilateral triangle is x√3, where x is half the length of one of the sides of the equilateral triangle.
